Attention: The water temperature on race day is expected to be in the high fifties. So Tri For Your Cause will be allowing athletes to do a duathlon instead. If you choose to do this you will start at 9:00am and just be replacing the swim leg with another run leg. Please email info@triforyourcause.com to make the change. You will be able to make this change at the expo on May 3rd as well. So feel free to test the water before you decide.

Wave Start times:

9:00am 12- 24, Duathlon

9:05am 25-29

9:10am 30-34, Relay Teams

9:15am 35+

This event will be professionally timed by TFYC timing and a $30 fee will be charged to any athlete that does not return there chip at the finish line. If you pick up your packet on race day at then decide not to race send the chip to the address below and you will not be charged.

10:30 am – Volunteer Meeting

11:00 am - Packet Pickup begins – Must have Photo Id

1:00 pm – 1st Mandatory Athlete Meeting

All athletes must attend one athlete meeting. USAT officials will go over rules and you can ask any question you may have. Make sure to have bar end plugs for your aero bars or USAT will disqualify you.

3:00 pm – 2nd Mandatory Athlete Meeting

6:00 pm - Packet Pickup is over

Race Day

Complimentary Beer will be provided from Avery Brewing Company!

There is no race day packet pickup. All athletes must get body marked before entering the transition area. Only athletes will be allowed in the transition area. Transition Area closes at 8:45 a.m.!

6:45 a.m. – Transition area opens

8:30 a.m. – Relay Team check in and instructions- All athletes need to be body marked!

8:45 a.m. – Transition area closes

9:00 a.m. – Wave 1 Starts – will be spaced 5 minutes apart

10:00 am – Swim Cut off

11:00 am – Awards Ceremony and mostly a raffle

11:30 am- Bike Cut off

1:00 pm – Tri For Your Cause Early Season is Finished

After the Race:

Don’t forget your finisher’s Mug awaiting you at the finish line.

Mail in entry must be postmarked before the dates listed above in order to be considered registered under that price. Mail in entry must also be postmarked at least two weeks out from the race.

Refunds, Transfers and Race Cancelation Policy:

Refunds will only be given if the race is canceled. The race will be canceled if and only if weather conditions make it impossible to race. Transfers from the early season race to the late season race are acceptable. However, this must be requested a month before the early season race and a transfer charge of $20 will be added to the difference in race prices.
